  15. <p>     CLEMENCY GRANTED. To Roswell Gilbert, 81; after serving five
  16. years of a 25-year-minimum prison sentence for the murder in
  17. 1985 of his wife Emily; by Florida Governor Bob Martinez; in
  18. Tallahassee. Gilbert, whose wife suffered from Alzheimer's
  19. disease and osteoporosis, claimed that she had begged him to
  20. end her misery. The case attracted national attention and was
  21. dramatized in a 1987 NBC TV movie.
